Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes, all your sessions are confidential. Records are kept confidential and secure.

    Please note that ethical and legal state guidelines require disclosure if there is the potential for self-harm or harm to others.

  • No, you do not need a referral from anyone.

  • No, this is a private online counselling service so there is no rebate. Counsellors do not work under the Medicare system, but this means they are not limited to using therapies the government prescribes. 

  • Details about how I work are on this website including what to expect at the first session. I do a 20-minute free Zoom session first to make sure you feel comfortable with me before you book.

  • Sessions are $120 for one hour.

  • If you would like an extended session of 90 minutes then the price will be $150. 

  • You contact me via text, phone, or email for a booking with possible days or times that would suit you best. A 20-minute session is free of charge.

    If you then book for a full session, you pay by bank transfer before your session. If you change your mind, you can get a full refund as long as it is within 24 hours prior to your appointment.

  • Yes, just contact me. At least 24 hours’ notice is appreciated. Remember I am in Melbourne so time Zones may differ if you are interstate.

  • That is very individual and will depend on the issues you are concerned about and how much time you may be able to spend on using the tools we discuss in your sessions.

    Therapy is about helping you empower yourself so you can move out of therapy with more confidence, self-understanding, and skills.
